The tour and services end after breakfast around 9 am.
Due to organisational reasons, weather conditions or provisions issued by local authorities, the itinerary may be subject to some changes before and/or during the holiday. Issues with high and low water, as well as logistic obstacles such as officially ordered - previously not announced - repair work on locks or bridges can modify some of the daily stretches or overnight stays and may even request a transfer by bus. These decisions are only taken by the barge’s captain.

Route profile
The cycle tours require a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The tours will take us up to a height of 200 to 650 m above sea-level. The daytours from 12 mi. to 37,5 mi. (20 to 50 km) will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints.
Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, during which they are, however, also permitted to push their bicycles. You will traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely traveled on outside the holiday seasons.
You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the barge, instead of taking a planned cycle tour. Each day you can either decide to cycle alone, using the information and maps provided, or join one of our tour guides or other participants.

Departure 15-22 August 2020
Online from 28 August 2020
