National Parks and Islands of Dalmatia

We invite you to spend a week on a ship cruising between the mainland and the islands. Good cuisine, an open minded crew and knowledgeable tour guides are expecting you. We visit two National Parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia, starting from Trogir. Highlights include UNESCO protected old town of Trogir, Primošten, Šibenik with its famous cathedral, Zadar, National Park Krka-waterfalls and Kornati Islands. On a romantic motor yacht, our floating accommodation, we discover the charm of the Adriatic in our own special way.

    1°  Trogir – Rogoznica

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3 mi./ 5 km from the harbour of Trogir. After checking in on the motor yacht (between 2 and 2.30 pm) departure around 3 pm. Enjoy the fresh breeze during the crossing to Rogoznica. Later in the afternoon there will be time to do the cycle fitting.

    2° Rogoznica – Skradin (13 miles/ 20 km)

In the morning the boat sails to Vodice. Your first cycling tour starts from this popular resort and immediately after you cross the bridge to the island of Murter. The boat will be waiting for you in Slanica, in the northwest of the island from where it will cross over to the island of Dugi Otok. On your way you will pass the Kornati National Park - an archipelago scattered in crystal clear water, renowned  for its rich underwater world. Your  destination is Telašćica Bay. The Mir salt lake is situated in the local nature park. At the end of the day, you will take a short hike to the impressive cliffs, before another short boat crossing to the small seaside village of Sali, where you will spend  the night.

    3° Skradin – Vodice (20 km - 12 miles)

Your ride today starts from Sali, along the almost traffic free island of Dugi Otok. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape and cycle to your destination the quiet village of Božava, surrounded by pine forests, Tamarisks and Agaves. From Božava, you will board once again and sail to the city of Zadar,  which for centuries was the absolute political, cultural and intellectual center of Dalmatia. The guide will take you on a walk through the lively city and show you the fascinating facets of this extraordinary outdoor museum. Over 3,000 years history in display. Overnight stay in Zadar.

    4° Vodice – Dugi Otok (30 km - 16 miles)

During breakfast the boat takes you to Preko on the island of Ugljan from where you will ride to Tkon on the island of Pašman. The two islands are connected by a bridge from which the first of the Kornati Islands can be seen. Cycle along the east coast of the island, constantly in vicinity of the sea with views of the mainland. Once in Tkon, you will board the boat and cross over to Vodice, a populare Dalmatian holiday destination on the mainland where you will spend the night.

    5° Dugi Otok – Zadar (25 km - 16 miles)

After breakfast and a short crossing to Sali, Today’s cycling tour leads you along a virtually traffic-free and panoramic road. You ride across the whole island. During the ride you’ll be able to enjoy countless unforgettable views of the islands scttered in the deep blue sea. You’ll then meet your boat for a crossing to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Your tour guide takes you on an extensive walk through the lanes of the lively old centre. 3,000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica.

    6° Zadar – Island of Zlarin (35 km - 21 miles)

During breakfast the boat crosses to the island of Ugljan at the channel of Zadar. Today you have a lot of time to explore both of the islands Ugljan and Pašman by bicycle. They have been connected by a bridge. You will cycle along the East Coast, always accompanied by beautiful views of the mainland and the sea. Later on the boat will sail towards the coral island of Zlarin.

    7° Island of Zlarin – Island of Solta - Trogir ( 15 km - 9 miles)

The first destination this morning is the island of Solta. Olive and fig trees and farmland star the landscape on this island. The spicy smell of lavender and rosemary will follow you throughout the whole tour around the quiet island until you reach the village Grohote. At mid day your last cruise takes you back to Trogir. Here you have enough time to visit the world cultural heritage old town. In the evening after dinner it will be your opportunity to say goodbye to the tour leader and members of the crew.

      Departure 12-19 August 2017

      Online from 28 August 2017

Bellissimo tour, ben organizzato, ottima nave (Melody), cibo, guide, posti stupendi.

      Departure 12-19 August 2017

      Online from 28 August 2017

      Departure 12-19 August 2017

      Online from 25 August 2017
